The additional amortization during training
Using martial arts floor causes increase of shock absorption when hitting a mat. It limits the risk of micro-injuries caused by frequent performed falls as well as increases the comfort of training.
There are 2 versions of martial arts floor available:
- MFA martial arts floor
- MFP martial arts base
MFA Martial Arts Floor
- consists of two layers of plywood joined together by means of hook-and-loop tape
- the bottom layer of the floor has special shock-absorbing pegs which ensure proper floor flexibility and stability
- competitor’s weight does not matter, neither does hardness and thickness of tatami mats which are the target surface cover of martial arts floor
- due to a considerable number of individual elements composing martial art floor, the floor is usually assembled permanently, directly on the floor or primed ground
- tatami mats are placed directly on surface of plywood
- NOTE: the minimum size of the floor for the order is ca.200m2
MFP Martial Arts Base
- made of PE foam
- product is a good alternative to MFA amortized martial arts floor in small mat surfaces or when it is necessary to dismantle the mat each time after finished training
- because of low weight of separate elements of martial arts base, assembling and dismantling the whole base is simple and quick
- martial arts base is laid directly on the floor or primed ground
- tatami mats are placed directly on surface of the base
- when martial arts base is not placed on the entire gym surface, that is from wall to wall, there is special system adopted in order to prevent ‘surface floating’
- colour of the base: random (photos are comparison ones)
